Photo of the Month 2016/10

From my this year's hiking vacation in the Allgäu region of the Alps, near Oberstdorf. This one shows the lake called Christlessee just after a shower went down. The cold water that ran from the surrounding mountains down the river into the lake created a layer of mist that spread above the surface of the lake, creating this mystical atmosphere. The picture was taken when the mist began to spread. After a while, as the temperature rose, the mist layer dissolved.
